I'm curious.
I mop mine about 2-3 times a week. Really it needs it more often than that because my kitchen door is the main door we use to go in and out of the house, so the kitchen is a high traffic area.
But my kitchen floor is linoleum. It's been my experience in the past that mopping linoleum floors on a daily basis leads to replacing them more often.
So I'm having difficulty finding the happy medium between keeping my kitchen floor clean and keeping it durable.

I want tile floors.
Or in the bigger dream, granite floors.
Then I could mop 3 times a day.

Sometimes I think my kitchen floors aren't clean enough because I only mop 2-3 times a week and this is making me feel a little bit inadequate.

Please tell me honestly how often you mop your kitchen floors so I can compare my self to others, pout about my inadequacy and move forward in life.

Every other day, but I live alone and often eat out so it's not really necessary.

I live in Southern Spain and my flat. like all flats here, is tiled throughout, keeps it cool in the summer but damn cold in winter.

I live quite close to Jan, and although I also live alone I have a very large dog, which makes mopping twice a day nowhere near enough

Much easier to cope with doggy hairs and muddy paws with tiles though Carol isn't it.

yes it is thankfully, but as you say they are cold in winter, so have very large rugs, which seem the ideal place on which to eat dog biscuits, that goes for both of us

Still not enough men replying to this post! So, I'll be honest. I have hardwood floors, and a house full of animals. So, depending on the company I am planning on iniviting over or the activities planned for the night. I usually MOP about once a week.
when I was in a relationship we actually found that house cleaning was an interesting way of getting a little dirty..........
Man I miss those days..........................Sigh.....................
