I was in the Brazen Head on Friday night... saw a few people but wasn't brave enough to go up to anyone, just in case they were complete strangers.. spoke briefly to Lorraine and Oslo.... Oslo is the only person I actually recognised though..

Not because I didn't love my husband any more.. but because of how badly he treated me (and my children) Then my love really DID turn to hate... and it was a horrible horrible feeling. Negative and consuming. It didn't really effect him.. only me.
So I stopped the hating and learnt a big lesson in forgiveness.
Love and hate.. they are somewhat similar.. both uncontrollable, both powerful.
Not because I didn't love my husband any more.. but because of how badly he treated me (and my children) Then my love really DID turn to hate... and it was a horrible horrible feeling. Negative and consuming. It didn't really effect him.. only me.

Love and hate do walk a fine line...I don't know that I have ever hated anyone...BUT certainly strong dislike and anger come to mind...I was angry at my ex-husband for years..BUT that's only because he put me through the wringer for 10 years while we were together and for years after our divorce...Finally when I quit dealing with him and refusing to accept his crap anymore...which was when my kids got older...then I didn't have to deal with him...I was able to forgive him, which I couldn't do with his on-going pledge to make my life hell because I wouldn't take him back....
I still don't really like him much, BUT for the first time in 14 years this Christmas we were able to sit down and seriously discuss some concerns I had about our daughter and he was able to make it about our daughter and not me...Now I speak to him all the time...which is not something I really care to do, but I do it to be civil!!!!!!!!!!
