MEANDSNOOP: HELLO EVERYONE IM NEW TO THE SITE AND WOULD LIKE TO POSE THE QUESTION; WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE WOMAN OF OLD, THE ONES WHO DONT NEED ALL OF THE MAKE UP AND BODY WORK TO THINK THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL?
It used to be that men and women met , married young and remained together. The "singles scene" was virtually unheard of...especially among the 30-60 set. Most men want an attractive woman, and most women want to feel attractive....and have the confidence that goes with that. So, the older a woman gets, the more effort it takes to remain physically attractive. I'm sure that's true for men, too, although men can generally get away with more than women. It just stands to reason that, at any age, if a couple hopes to eventually have a physically intimate relationship, they have to be physically attracted to each other. It's really all about doing the best you can, where you are with what you've got.
On the other hand, women have always been concerned with enhancing their beauty. Go back in history....even WAY back. Cosmetics in one form or another have existed since women have. The key is to use cosmetics to enhance natural beauty, not to try and create something that just isn't there. A mask has limited appeal and eventually has to come off.
When I was younger I used to wear makeup all the time, but now I do not bother unless I am going somewhere special then it is just a little bit.
I was once told that if you do not take the time to put on makeup to make yourself look better then you give the impression you do not care how you look. I think she was wrong as I always have clean clothes and hair.
umm regarding your question, in a personal response....I wear makeup, cuz I like it and it makes me feel good and I dont have any work done to my body, to each their own. But its all a personal preference, shouldnt be an issue with it. but thats just me.

Oh common girlie ... it was a joke. If you gotta stay tight you gotta sweat more ... on a dancing floor too
My day goes smoothly .. for now. Gotta feed my kid .... so I am gone.
As for women I only answer for myself in certain matters, this is 1.I accept the body God gave me,but I do try to take care of it.Some days I wear make-up,some not, some ipstick only, bla bla... Point is what I wear or don't is because that's how I feel god about me that day.I don't use any artificial creams or serums to cover my age,1 they are too expensive and 2 I am not ashamed of my age.
I do know women who are the type I think your referring to and you will find a few a few on here I beleie. As others say,it's everyone own choice.
THANX EVERYONE FOR THE RESPONSES. TRUE ITS ONES OWN CHOICE AND I GUESS WHAT I WAS TRYING TO SAY WAS I LIKE TO WAKE UP TO THE SAME LOOKING WOMAN I WENT TO SLEEP WITH. PERSONALLY I FEEL A NATURAL WITH ALL HER NATURAL BEAUTY IS BEST.NO PUTDOWN TO THOSE WHO INHANCE THEIRSELVES YOUR BEAUTIFUL TO AND I UNDERSTAND WE DO WHAT MAKES US FEEL BETTER, BUT AS FOR ME KEEP IT NATURAL .IY LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER. GOOD DAY ALL
I hide behind my make-up because I have a low self-image and don’t view myself as pretty without it. I have a deep respect for women who find themselves beautiful without any make-up, and I am striving to find this level of acceptance within myself.
As for plastic surgery and artificial parts, well, it just seems more effort than it’s worth. Money could be better spent on other things.

" All women are beautiful regardless of color" a guy friend told me... so are you Girlnext It doesnt mean that someone doesn't wear make up ... she feels great without it. As for me, I am just sooooooooo lazzzzzzzzzzzzyyyyyyyyyyy>>>> thats why I sometimes don't wear it and I don't care if I'm pretty or not in their eyes....
I am beautiful no matter what they say!!!! hehehehe (just boosting my confidence)

What do you mean... women of old? women were wearing makeup back in the time of Cleopatra, did you ever see Marilyn without her eyelashes and eyeliner, or Betty Grable without her lipstick. I think you confuse women who use makeup to enhance their features with women who use makeup as a mask and haven't been taught how to use it properly. I'm very happy with my appearance, but a little enhancement never hurts!
