Dawn, sometimes people find it easier to be treated badly then be treated good.
The important thing is to realise it is not you with the problem.
Emotionally maybe he doesnt realise what it is like to be treated nice, and looks at you and thinks maybe you're to good for him.
This is just speculation of course, it is hard to give an opinion like this without know the person personally.

Men by nature are hunter, warriors, conquerors. They thrive off the hunt and the kill, but they are not really interested in the clean up.
How do this applies to your situation?
Well you my frient have become like a domestic animal to the hunter. There is no hunt involved and the butcher takes care of the mess. It's a win/lose situation for the hunter, as he has the meat he's looking for but the thrill of the hunt and chase have eluded him. So instead of being happy with a full stomach, they keep searching to fill that void in their soul for the chase/hunt.
My suggestion to you, let him chase you. Let him realize that you are something worth hunting. If he really cares about you, he will come after you! And when he does take your time, make it worth both your time.

Thanks everyone for the input... I've had some time to sleep on it... Decided to just step back and go my own way... not going to give up the friendship, but hot going to hold my breath....
I believe someone mentioned the possibility of my "picker was broke".... beginning to agree.
As for the comment of "her tools being bigger than mine I'm outta here"...lol... that's the one thing he didn't have to worry about.. only my chest was...lol
The "hunter comment"... he's too busy chasing the wrong kind of prey... the poisonous kind... so I'm going to just step back and wait with the antidote (as usual).
To any comments I missed... I'm sorry, my memory is a bit shaky right now...lol

No matter how well you get on with a person, or how well they treat you, if that spark is missing, you can't make yourself fall in love with them.
