flowers - protocol in CS (28)
All I can do is answer for myself ......... so in considering my experiences ... if its a nice comment - I'll respond back ......... if the person is being rude - sometimes I blast him, but most times now I'll ignore them because its really not worth the effort.
I appreciate "original" thoughts .......... not just a comment from the drop down box (think that is very tacky)

But, if I get flowers from people I don't know with a oneliner message that is supposed to be funny. BUT, I don't think it's funny at all...then I reply with an evil flower and block them so's they can't answer me back
& if I get the one that says "Do you believe in love at first sight"

I would advise that you cut a little off the stem and then put the flowers in a vase with a fresh water,, if you wish to save them longer you can latter hang them to dry upside down and keep them that way....especially if they are from a very special person.what is the proper behaviour? You can also reciprocate by returning the gesture.,,,or a "thank you" card.
