A friend of mine (girl)is very fond of the scent of a particular men's brand of skin products, so much so that she has recently been using the man's body wash which leaves a faint scent on her. Is this acceptable or would it be a total turn off to men.

um...there is no friend...it is me
um...maybe why i have been single for the last 5 months?

please advice...and have a good day

Immanuelle, I have a neice who is "big" on perfumes, knows them all, help friends choose, etc etc ... and she uses a mens scent. It definitely seems to change its aroma on the different skins.

As a matter of interest ... the perfumes I used in South Africa smell absolutely revolting on me now here in Switzerland!....?.... Different hemisphere - different results?confused

I was a bit paranoid because I gave a guy friend the shaving stuff etc. and said I was keeping the body wash and he absolutely rolled his eyes at me like I was some sort of freak.

You are completly right about doing as you feel or want to...simply be yourself and feel comfortable about it, accept your unique way...worst of all is doing as everybody else does.
When I was a child, my father asked me:"If everybody would put their heads into the rubbish...would you do the same???" Each human has an individual way...so just enjoy that lovely perfume....men are using ours as wellcheering

Hell the sense of smell is a very powerful stimulator of the memory and if makes the person happy, hell go for it! It's not like your stealing his underwear it's just body wash :-)

Unless it smells like she,s wearing unclean undies go for it. Then again...laugh

All this talik about how smells change depending on where you are made me remember a guy I once knew who worked fo an in-flight catering company. Hel told me that they always use lots of extra salt on in-flight food cause if they didn,t it would taste bland due to cabin pressure. That got me thinking about a trolly dolly I once knew, proper salty she was, saucy too.rolling on the floor laughing

I don't see anything wrong with it. If you like it that should be all that matters.
