America is running scared.....they're wasted by the war, Wall Street is down the toilet, and people fear for their jobs and welfare....normally I would say Obama is a shoo-in...anything but another Republican....but with things the way they are, the average US citizen is going to go conservative, and take no risks...they'll go for the devil they know....therefore MaCain, even tho it'll be a disaster....

The same can be said for british politicians...And in certain cases(Brit. politicians) I could very easily levy something worse than the word disaster...And murder ready springs to mind...Just look at their (british Gov.) track record in the North of the Island of Ireland...Not a lot to be proud about there or the miners..want me to continue...
Need to get Stinking Government out of Peoples Lives,and so far,wherever I look,not one Frigging Politician is willing to give up even a little bit Power.

The boy asks his father what these two dogs are doing.Father is sort of embarrassed

They have people running for presidency, but one will for sure be the slowest and get caught up. Since J. "Zeb" Macahan has got a limp it could very well be him. But he has been flown out of the battle zone before, could happen again.

I am sorry, but I can not see how the choice between blue or dark blue would change much. As a sign to the world of non Americans, non Christians and non European descendants - a fitting picture of US multi culture heritage - Obama would be a good choice. Marketing wise that is.
More interesting would be to know when the different union members in EU have their elections and how the wind blows.
The very anti foreigner side in Spain lost to Zapatero here just half a year back with a very small margin. I see that Austria is back tracking politically and has got their führer in place.
Sweden has got their conservatives in place, but since they can not rule without coalition with more liberal parties, it has not gone all wrong even if they are trying hard to have the right to eavesdrop on all communications. Right now they are busy choosing a female version of the walkers crossing sign though, to improve equality in the traffic

Well, when you think about it ... Who Realy Cares? At the best, it will provide for lots of newsy things to read, and at the worst, it will provide the same.......
I think it will be a neck and neck showdown between Obama and McCain.

It's not beyond him and his clique. There was a time after 11/9/2001 (that is written in the European way) when anyday near major holidays (4th Jul, Thanksgiving, Xmas, Easter, etc...) the polls were showing Bush's ratings going down news would be that something had been discovered somewhere indicating a possible threat to the country. His Idiotness' ratings would shoot up.
Phoenix's thing above would not surprise me the least.
