he is one of the most respected "African-Americans" (I hate that term) in America. A great military man. And an inner circle Republican. And he is supporting OBama. I believe that says something about McCain

I think it does too...since he is a fellow military man....He obviously knows things the public doesn't and he doesn't trust the man enough to run the country....He's fair and unbiased and honest...one of the few politicians I can say that about....opinion and that's what I have always respected about him....

Actually that was pointed at those who say Farakans endorcement of OBama says something of OBama's ideaology. I think Powell's endorcement sapeaks many more volumns than Farakan. Because he is so well respected. I have said from day one I would vote for Powell for president!!

Sure if he ran...he would be the best candidate....but in his place...he has chosen who he thinks is and yes indeed that speaks volumes....

Except when he solemnly presented that silly non-evidence for "weapons of mass destruction" to the U.N. - and when he supported the Bushes.
Perhaps he's experienced a genuine revival of conscience - I'm not certain.

That's true...and that was not right...other than that..I trust and respect the man...and I would hope he did have a genuine change revival of conscience...because he has seen..what has gone on between then and now...and also he is endorsing Obama because he knows McCain the way none of the rest of us do...how he operates and believes Obama is genuinely the best man for the job!!!!!!!
