gussi: i spent today driving 600 km to view a new house and kicking myself for being stupid.

Why you looking at a house 600km away from where you live? ... Oh, is that so you dont have to drive so far to work every day? .... Why you kicking yourself for being stupid? Whats stupid about that?

MARTI: I consider this day a relaxing one for me..

Sunday was once a day of total rest. No driving around, no going from place to place, no hobbies, just eating, relaxing, watching TV or some video, eat some more, maybe a short stroll, and back to bed.
That was in sharp contrast to the weekly programme, which would see me driving around quite a bit, stealing a sandwich for a mid day lunch without a proper break, and work till late, including work sitting behind the computer to send out quotations and enquiries to various firms.

Now that has all changed. During the week, I am working less. But the biggest difference in my lifestyle including Sunday programme, was brought about by my companion, who works all day almost 8 till 8, and who looks forward to enjoying our Sundays outdoors.
Typically we wake up late on a Sunday morning 11 ish or 12 ish, shower, dress up for a Sunday drive, Sunday lunch at some restaurant worth its salt, tasting innumerable dishes offered at the buffet, (up to 26 different plates) then back to the second drive, stop by the sea, in car or in some seaside resort, have a few cokes or coke and coffee, stay there till it gets dark, go to her place this time, watch a DVD or some TV, and prepare to go to bed by 11pm for the Monday hassle!
