I have meet three wonderful ladies here, one has become like a sister and is fantastic, one was a truly lovely person sadly the spark never happened, and the third, well we just never stop chatting, have loads in common and soon we will meet and bring this online friendship into a real relationship.

I met and dated someone from CS. That didn't work out,but I have met and made some great friends. I know of three marriages resulting from meeting here.
I find the people on the forums to be as they are portrayed here. I have met a lof of the 'locals' by attending the CS events.

If your referring to my post, then no its not over the top it's fact, I have exchanged messages with many ladies since being on CS and very few fall into the "Not so wonderful" most appear to be genuine, but for whatever reason never went any further than a couple of exchanges.
If your negative before you even start to chat, how do you think that will come across to your prospective new friend, be positive, but keep an open mind.

I've been doing the online dating thing ever since my divorce....so that's been about 10 years. I've met several men during the course of that time....but haven't met THE man ......yet. At times I feel like quitting, but then the other half of me won't allow it
