New pill they came up with. Blocks the nicotine from going to the brain. Even if you do smoke, you don't get the rush. Maybe just a crutch, don't really know. Just know I don't need the things anymore!

I stopped smoking before most of you were born I think - 4pm on April 4 1974. Used to smoke 40 a day and just stopped. Kept waiting for the withdrawal symptoms but never got any. However, I have dreamt that I'm halfway through a cigarette and realise what I'm doing and think 'damn, when did I light that?'

i think in 74 they werent as addictive and full of chemicals as now but ive quit again its been 6 yrs this time?
the 2 times i tried to smoke i yakked so i guess im gonna be alright this time
my skin looks soooo much better that was a motivator for me- vanity
I smoked for 11 years quit for 14 years and started again 12 years ago. Last year I was smoking 3 packs a day then switched to rollups. I use natural tobaco without the 4 hundred and some odd chemicals added, rice paper with natural gum and cotton filters... The fact is I enjoy smoking... changing to non chemical has been much better. I smoke less than a pack a day and feel better for it, my costs are about 1/10th of what they were.
I don´t know what all the chemicals are that are added to prerolled cigarettes but I know that if I smoke them now they make me feel quite ill.
There may come a time in my life when I once again choose not to smoke, if that happens I´ll quit, but for now I think I´ve reduced some of the harm and i enjoy it.

tanja_70: I quitted four days ago, I did it before and start over and over again; this is 3rd time as I try. First time I didn’t smoke 3 years, second time about 9 months. Now, I decide I wouldn’t stat it again ever.

Well at least in the time you did not smoke your lungs recovered. I know what you mean about enjoying smoking that is how we all become junkies in the first place. Hope your boyfriends smoke the same as you as then it won't bother you guys when making out lol
