raven21: if a woman is single for 5 years...should she start 'hunting' for a man...or should she wait for her prince charming to come and get her?

Steveno: There are a number of things that should be illegal for women to do when it comes to men. Number 1 should be chasing after a man.

Never do that. Ever. Ever, Ever, Ever!

If a man starts to show interest, play it cool and let him come to you. He must be hot on fire for more than having a purely physical experience, he should be burning up for you.

Furthermore, he should be the first to tell you how much he wants you, wants to get to know you, the things that he loves and desires in you and how you make him feel. This is only when you can put your guard down and actually tell him how you are feeling, if it is the same.

Men love to chase, they are not made to be chased. Chasing a man will put out his burners for you.

The hardest thing to do is to see a man that you truly desire and leave him the heck alone. You may feel like you are going mad and may need to be committed because you are in lust with him.

You cannot actually develop an emotional connection unless you begin to communicate and exchange energy with him. So don't go there. It's not actually being "in love."

Make a man come after you by pulling and pushing. Pull him in when he shows interest then push him back a bit so that his interest can continue to grow.

It's not a game, it's called smart dating.

I disagree.smoking

Why not send a guy a flower and say that you like something about him?Answer a blog post or talk on the forums. Put yourself out there a bit without chasing anyone. Sign up with more than one site. It's not really hunting but letting yourself be seen and your personality being known at bit. Just an idea.

Hey Owen nice to see you woman. I am afraid I didn't scroll through all the comments just putting my couple of cents worth in. Only thing that has worked for me in RL is to be friends I am a bit too shy for anything else and not much of a flirt.

Women should not do chasing, isnt matter how long times she been single, its better to wait untill the exact time will come and found your prince, because when we are trying to chasing some guys ,if they know we are hunting them they might take a chance with you just for fun,but if we wait and the guys come in our life, then is that your choice as well if you give them a chance if you think he is a kind person you are looking for. roll eyes wave

I actually started dating someone after I only commented on something he wrote online. We became friends and it went from there. When I made the comment was only looking for friends but you don't have to sit back and do nothing either. Some men are just as nervous approaching you as you are them.

well im walking very slowly very slowly indeed almost to a stop, even the replay mode cant keep up,
to be honest any person being chased must do wonders for their ego or esteem and if you like some one then why not.
males do not have patent rights over chasing so go girl go

ps im at a stop come on catch up rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

I agree...friendship and getting to know one another first for me is a must too...Jumping straight into romance before you really take time to be friends and get to know each other first....I have found is a disaster....wave wink hug teddybear hug bouquet
