6-8" tomorrow on top of the 10" here yesterday. I need snow tires. I could put one of those really cool looking snow shovel things on front of my jeep. What is up with all this snow?

Can deal with the snow...I hate freezing rain though...
KrazieStill: We are getting pounded here in CT. I planned ahead, shopping done and am home looking out the window. I remember the nightmare last year when the company waited too long to release everyone and it took 3 1/2 hours to go 17 miles.
If it's snowing where you are, did you plan ahead? Still stuck at work? The airport?

Not yet but we still have snow on the ground usually it warms up and melts pretty quickly here, but have some type of artic wind sweeping down here and expecting more snow in the next few days. What is scary is when the main interstate here gets icy and there are 25 car pileups. Yikes.
The_Kansan: No snow, but it's been raining for the last two freakin' weeks. Gotta' go to Indiana on Sunday, so I'm sure I'll see more snow then. Not a great thing in a big truck, but it beats hell outta' the damn rain! (Did I mention that I'm sick of the freakin' rain?)
I live in Maine, and we got a ton of snow last night. Thanks goodness I was at home! I had to dig my car out of my driveway just to go grocery shopping. I've been waiting all day for the plow guy to plow my driveway (he couldn't when my car was buried...lol) Anyhow, it's supposed to snow tomorrow afternoon into Monday here... well.. the kids will be happy, but I'll still have to go to work, we don't close for anything! (me looking cold) But, on the bright side, we are having a White Christmas ... Time to dance
thewall2: Huge snow fall warning affect in Montreal starting tonight 30-35 centimetres TOTAL.I got the shovels out....The Wall IS READY BRUDDER......The Wall is READY! Later....
Good bring it down here...we're suppose to get a worse storm than we did yesterday starting at 3 am...and then another one later in the week...I haven't seen or heard so much snow broadcast in a week since I was a kid....

Well I am in London and its 11 degrees here. We may get a light flurry of snow in Jan or Feb and an inch or two may settle for a morning but that is pretty much it.

It is hot, ladies and gentleman, hot!
Time to do the annual hunt for a nice water melon. In our neck of the woods we enjoy it this time of the year but especially on New Year's Day after a braai (barbeque). Teenagers run around like lunatics and rub it all over each other.
