I am doing some research for my new clothing line called REVENANT, which means: one that returns after death or a long absence

1. As such, I saw a picture of the Pope and others on the internet, and it puzzled me as to why the Catholic Church is dressing men up in dunce hats and dresses, when the bible clearly states:

Deuteronomy 22:5 The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.

2. I was also wondering why the Catholic Church killed the "witches" and tortured them so horrifically, when if anyone here has taken a moment to look at the teachings of wicca will see that they are mostly into holistic and spiritual healing and abide by the creed, "Harm None," further the bible clearly states:

Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill
Exodus 22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live

3. I am also wondering why the Catholic Church tortured and murdered the Knights Templars and took all their monies and land, when they had direct orders that prohibited them from killing them.

In addition, if you visit the Hereditary Knights Templars of Brittania website, you will see their codes of conduct, that they abide by the 10 Commandents, that they welcome men and women, and their creed, "Do the right thing."

4. Why is the Catholic Church allowed to murder people, steal property, and molest children and remain immune to the law and government but yet they are allowed to comment and persuede the publics oppinion on everything?

There is more but, these are the ones that come to my mind at the moment as I am drawing sketches.

Your thoughts and information on these matters are welcome.

Who knows, There are lots of questions one can ask. For instance;

Why do people use questions as poorly veiled insults to a certain people, religious groups, etc...?

Why do some people feel it necessary to prop up their own beliefs by attempting to insult other's beliefs?

Why do people try to demean an entire group based on wrongs done in the past by members of said group?

Why would someone ask for other's thoughts when they clearly have no interests in them?

Why did I just spend 60 seconds posting this?

Thank you for your input and thoughts one this matter. These things are not of the past but, in fact are still happening.

I am trying to understand and am puzzled as to why people believe in the things that people say without doing thorough research to see if what they are giving their money, time, and love to, are really abiding by the bible, that's all.

Oh, I remember now that other question I have as I researching the history books on the Catholic Church is:

Why is an organization that was founded and is still currently run by a group of women, who it is openly noted in all the books practices Satanism, refuse to allow women to be priests, when it is women themselves that appoint the Popes?

I can't answer your questions tonight but I sure will tomorrow tomorrow night and I will only use scripture to prove what I explain to you about why anyone wears religious garb. Its not biblical. I will also so show you that the Protestant system of religion is a watered down version of Roman Catholicism. I only saw one intelligent answer on your thread and that was from Billy boy. Well, the version the two versions I have on my desk right now, state "Thou shalt not kill" in Exodus and then again in Deuteronomy.

The answer is obvious, if you look at history.
The church is simply using pagan traditions and garb.

The whole thing, from the (supposed) origin of jesus, to the rites...Everything is just prior beliefs re-packaged as Christianity.
Look up Mithra worship.

The Vatican was built upon the grounds previously devoted to the worship of Mithra (600 B.C.). The Orthodox Christian hierarchy is nearly identical to the Mithraic version. Virtually all of the elements of Orthodox Christian rituals, from miter, wafer, water baptism, alter, and doxology, were adopted from the Mithra and earlier pagan mystery religions. The religion of Mithra preceded Christianity by roughly six hundred years. Mithraic worship at one time covered a large portion of the ancient world. It flourished as late as the second century. The Messianic idea originated in ancient Persia and this is where the Jewish and Christian concepts of a Savior came from. Mithra, as the sun god of ancient Persia, had the following karmic similarities with Jesus:
Identical Life Experiences

Mithra was born on December 25th as an offspring of the Sun. Next to the gods Ormuzd and Ahrimanes, Mithra held the highest rank among the gods of ancient Persia. He was represented as a beautiful youth and a Mediator. Reverend J. W. Lake states: "Mithras is spiritual light contending with spiritual darkness, and through his labors the kingdom of darkness shall be lit with heaven's own light; the Eternal will receive all things back into his favor, the world will be redeemed to God. The impure are to be purified, and the evil made good, through the mediation of Mithras, the reconciler of Ormuzd and Ahriman. Mithras is the Good, his name is Love. In relation to the Eternal he is the source of grace, in relation to man he is the life-giver and mediator" (Plato, Philo, and Paul, p. 15).


He was considered a great traveling teacher and masters. He had twelve companions as Jesus had twelve disciples. Mithras also performed miracles.


Mithra was called "the good shepherd,” "the way, the truth and the light,” “redeemer,” “savior,” “Messiah." He was identified with both the lion and the lamb.


Chambers Encyclopedia says: "The most important of his many festivals was his birthday, celebrated on the 25th of December, the day subsequently fixed -- against all evidence -- as the birthday of Christ. The worship of Mithras early found its way into Rome, and the mysteries of Mithras, which fell in the spring equinox, were famous even among the many Roman festivals. The ceremonies observed in the initiation to these mysteries -- symbolical of the struggle between Ahriman and Ormuzd (the Good and the Evil) -- were of the most extraordinary and to a certain degree even dangerous character. Baptism and the partaking of a mystical liquid, consisting of flour and water, to be drunk with the utterance of sacred formulas, were among the inauguration acts."



In the catacombs at Rome was preserved a relic of the old Mithraic worship. It was a picture of the infant Mithra seated in the lap of his virgin mother, while on their knees before him were Persian Magi adoring him and offering gifts.


He was buried in a tomb and after three days he rose again. His resurrection was celebrated every year.


Mithra had his principal festival on what was later to become Easter, at which time he was resurrected. His sacred day was Sunday, "the Lord's Day." The Mithra religion had a Eucharist or "Lord's Supper."

Well, Conrad, I went to go get my coffee, and realized there was no milk, so I got dressed and decided to run up to the small store up the road (as I live out in horse property from the city), and the car had a flat tire, so, I jumped in the truck, and it had been sitting so long the battery was dead.

So, I decided to jump it with the car, pulled out the cables, and went to hook it up, and you know, all the engine parts on the Mercedes is covered up with black coverings and I cannot even figure out how to get it off or where the battery is.

So, when all else fails, I called my dad, and said please come with some milk, a pack of smokes (which I am working on quitting again, started back up last April), a can of fix a flat, and the air compressor. He said, I will be right there.

You have to love dads. My brother is deceased now, and how I miss him dearly.
