Exactly, so who do we believe, is it possible its all just a ploy, that's what I want to know or maybe just someones mistake or it really is happening but not quiet the way we thought

fiction...as the climate has been in existence fot thousands of years with man only trying to keep track/recording it accurately over the last century. For all we know it may well be a natural occurrence/cycle of mother nature.

Thats what I was thinking, but when you read on the internet there seems to be much that points to it being a human creation and nothing to do with mother nature

Global Warming is nothing but a money making scheme for governments around the world. We as creatures of the world can't do permanent damage to the world. Only after we kill ourselves off, mother nature will renew herself and start all over.

Totaly agree! Everything in Universe going on by spiral.

I heard the dinosaurs were wiped out by a parasite.
The theory that they were destroyed by the Earth being hit with a meteor were proven untrue also.

In response to: I was chatting to a friend about global warming and the fact we are having a tough winter all over Europe, so wondered:
Is it a total fact that global warming exists or is it a ploy by governments to try and save our depleting resources?
We seem to have a cycle of climate conditions for example the Romans grew grapes in England, but not so long ago the winters were co cold the rivers froze over, I have seen pictures of people skating on the river Thames in London.

Yes I agree,there has been a change, but would this not have occurred whether or not the human race existed, my point is that there is a cycle of climate, earth seems to go from one extreme to the other one moment an ice age the next (give or take a few million years)the ice caps melt, maybe we are just coming to the end of the last ice age and the beginning of a new heat age for wont of a better word
A natural phenomenon perhaps.
