What I am wondering is this, maybe the theists perceive this as a God experience and they experience and see what they want to see, and the atheists perceive what they did all along, that there is no God, even in a near death experience. Maybe they too, experienced and saw what they want to see as well?
In any case, the common thread that the near death experiences mention is knowing and feeling all, and feeling the best they ever did when they were out of their bodies.

Interesting Trish...
I've had that feeling of knowing and feeling all twice in my life. It was not an OBE, but in each instance, I felt connected and was the truth for about 2-3 seconds...then it disappeared and I could not remember a single thing. The only thing I could remember is the feeling of connection and having all the answers. It was like I was in the middle of an infinite amount of fabrics weaving all over the place, but there was order.
Anyways, I don't believe in God. I think the people who said they heard God talking to them assumed and labeled whatever voice it was (could have been there own) that it was God.
Tamarin: A very close relative had a terrible accident and physically died ....her heart stopped beating but thankfully the medically staff resuscitated her...
She spoke of what she saw...
Keep in mind she is an agnostic..
I simply felt weightless neither happy or sad.
In front of me was a white corridor/tunnel and then I heard the Dr's voice trying to bring me a round....
Thanks for sharing Tamarin. The tunnel is common in many near death experiences. It's like a transition chamber supposedly. I think she did not fully cross over.

Well I hope not as it is my sis and she has the calamine lotion about to put on my spots

Do you remember the stuff in the fractal vids Tony? thats what my experience was like - I was witnessing and a part of at the same time, pure energy - it was all of everything, and not just one time either.........

Of course. Come to think of it, my experience felt very fractal like with the fabrics weaving and weaving forever...

Sounds like very similar experiences - it was just a natural flowing movement of past present and future, of infinity all in one and changing too, dimensionally - very beautiful........
I've had one *possibly* genuine out-of-body experience. I say "possibly," because I remain skeptical that it was real - however, it was and is hard for me to completely dismiss.
I was lying on my bed feeling incredibly relaxed one morning, and then felt myself begin to "vibrate" - very pleasant, like one of those motel vibrating beds of old, except not as seedy, of course, or as coin-hungry...
Anyhow, as the vibrations built I suddenly felt "myself" sort of slip "free," and I seemed to rise off the bed. I headed for the bathroom, undoubtedly because my non-astral bladder was full. So I entered the bathroom and was annoyed and somewhat embarrassed to find my roommate sitting on the pot, reaching for the toilet paper. Fortunately, he seemed utterly oblivious to my presence, so I backed swiftly away -
And suddenly woke up in my bed, thinking: "Woah! That was sort of weird!"
Since my non-spiritual bladder was still undrained, I staggered out of bed and walked down the hall to the bathroom - which I was annoyed to discover was occupied. I danced a little jig as I waited, and eventually the toilet flushed and my roommate emerged, making fanning motions with one hand that indicated my reception inside would perhaps tweak my olfactory senses. He explained he'd taken a "worldclass dump."
And that was the inauguration of my interest in all things spiritual.
And no - I did not see God or Jesus or even any lesser deity as I later stumbled out of the bathroom, despite my close proximity to death as a result of the smell.

Maybe it was God who took the worldclass dump? I'm thinking that whole story there Jeff is disguised as a clever euphemism?

And here is the video in which an individual claims he saw Jesus and God...
