Yep! I had the last two days off work, today was my first day back and as I took my first load into the depot the boss ran up and asked me into his office? I had to sign a sick leave form for Wednesday as I had the broken water pipe, and had too take the day off work, before I signed, I asked the boss what did I have other than the broken water pipe? And should I take medication? For it? Like pick up some beer on the way home?

Well I did save myself $100 callout fee! By doing the job myself,

I do.

For yesterday, a man had a wife
Another man a sister
Two young men had a mother
And an elderly couple a daughter
A little boy had a grandmother
And his mother, a friend

But Joanna died today, suddenly and unexpectedly, and tonight a family is grieving.

Rest in peace dear Joanna, as my beautiful daughter, your confidante and friend, is there for her devastated husband and his family and our beautiful grandson is being cared for, as always.

You went and lived your dream, in the country surrounded by nature, for a little while, and that's how we will remember you rose

Dear curly hug

My daughter's mother-in-law died today, I received a message at work this morning that Joanna had suddenly taken ill, it appeared that she had had a stroke.

She was able to call for help herself (she was alone at the time) but in the short time it took for the ambulance to take her to hospital and the family to be informed of that, she died.

Joanna was only in her late fifties. Such a terrible shock.

Thank you for your kind thoughts curly rose

Thank you epirb, I was thinking earlier about how someone's death affects those who knew and loved that person.

My daughter is with her husband and his family tonight as they try to come to terms with his mother's sudden death.

Then there's his elderly grandparents who lost their daughter today, and eventually trying to explain to my young grandson that his other grandma has gone forever sad flower

It was a terrible shock for all, obviously, but I was also concerned about my daughter, as our family has also had some traumatic events happen over the past couple of months and she has been such wonderful support for me and will be for her husband and his family at this time.

Just want to make sure she takes care of herself too.

A few hundred meters from my son's house yesterday . The deck is off the ute and did not looked damaged . Second person to be killed on that crossing in just a few years , earlier crash left behind a young son , 8 year old , and a wife . This latest kid had driven like a mad thing all the time . Good thing we never know when our numbers up .

That is so sad Serene, I feel for your family, can't imagine how this affects you all. sad flower

It is a reminder to us all to live your dreams, don't put off decisions about things you want to do for tomorrow, as who knows if tomorrow will come??

Smell the roses, cherish your loved ones, don't sweat the small stuff and take pleasure and enjoyment from the things in life that make you happy. And get rid of any negative stuff in your life. Be free.
