I Pray to the Moon.

Behind an icy mist I see a moon so full and bright.
Hanging in the starry sky a wanderers guiding light.
The frost draped fields turn a ghostly hue.
Trees cloaked in varying shades of blue.
Ice crystalline diamonds fall from above.
Touch my face like kisses sent from the one I love.
With prayer I turned towards the light.
Shine not on me but her tonight.

I think you are absolutely right about the moon as being an inspiration source. Do you think it has something to do with the fact, all alone it is just hanging out there dark and not to be seen, but aimed at with warmth and light like in sunshine it suddenly start to glow towards us. The same way I like to believe I glow when aimed at with love and words of light,

The poem is just wonderful in words and creation. heart beating heart beating

My My--Grandad--You really have--a Way With Words.
Your Mind is 'Fertile Ground.'
Your Heart Speaks aloud--through your Poetry.
I am Just drinking them all in.
You've got to think of 'PUBLISHING'--if you have not--already.
