How do you feel when you steal the other works?

Well..... this is my hibernation season... actually I didn't wanna come up here until I've done something. BUT last few days I accidentally read some poems on HERE and I found out that 'HE' is a FAKE one, 'HE' ain't a writer...

HE has deleted SOME of the poems HE POSTED here already. BUT IT is NOT ENOUGH for me... HE should DELETE more as there are some more poems that he STOLE from the others! I remembered all of those poems cus some of them are belong to someone I know! SOMEONE's VERY CLOSE to me!!!!! HE SHOULD be in JAIL!!!! For stealing the other works!!!!

One of his comments said, "my mother was a poet, so I think it's because of genes or something, and that I wrote this blah blah blah ...." This poem and comment are deleted already cus it's ILLEGAL!!! I feel sorry for HIS mother, she should be so PROUD of HIM, if only HE wrote poems by himself!

Another one that he said he dedicated for someone he falls for in here, or "love on CS", ! that was a sweet lovely poem which has been written for more than five years!!!! I was surprised to see it here! I even left a comment, said "WOWW--- very lovely poem!" I wanna know how he would reply me... Shame!! the poem is deleted again in the morning! At least , He felt guilty, well I'm appreciated!

For someone who loves to steal the others works. You KNOW WHO!!! He is A MAN! I will not mention his name this time, I'll try to be calm and cool. You are lucky that I am so KIND! cus if I am not kind, you would NEVER EVER stay on this poety board since the first time I read your COPIED poems!!!

DELETE ALL OF THOSE POEMS YOU COPIED!! WRITE ONLY YOUR POEMS! DO NOT COPY THE OTHERS! BE HONEST! IF YOU WANT TO FOOL AROUND, JUST FOOL YOURSELF!(

A lot of people on occasion will quote from a line or even a verse from a well known poet, that is fine but should still be acknowledged.

I would think the most quoted poet ever as regards the title of a poem is Rudyard Kipling's "If"

I have read dozens of poems entitled "If".

I would be flattered if somebody wanted to use a couple of lines I had written, so long as they asked first...

It is wrong what you mentioned, of course. But the one who did it is a pitiful sight, cause he or she can't think of his/her own poem. I am sure you've reached his/her private mail before sending alarm. Serves him/her right if he/she didn't listen.

stealing poem is kinda low , but you shouldn't attack the person , that leads to anger , hate, and hate is a contagious emotion. I was attacked personally because my poems were not good enough for another member , i won't say his name but he questioned my mental health and told me to stop flooding cs with my so called poetry , i did hate this person but now i do not. So don't be angry , just sleep in your cave for a few weeks .

Hey there lil' missy, it's true what you say that this kind of stealing is wrong, sometimes though we have to wonder 'why'? perhaps he felt that his own poems weren't good enough and wanted to impress a special someone - i don't know, because when i went to mail him again he was gone. I also found another person copying from the internet yesterday and she only had one poem and she's gone too. sometimes the people that come to the poets corner because they are shy and don't have a very high opinion of themselves so i tend to try to talk about what they are doing rather than make a big thing over it. sometimes they leave anyway because they are ashamed of being caught, or need to go get a new profile and try again, and sometimes they stay and clean up the act.
I'm sorry his actions upset you as he stole your friends work, it must have been a shock to you to see this happen.
By the way, the best way to check if someone is pinching poetry is to google the first line of their poem, having said that if you google the first line of most of my poems here - there is a chance that a link to my own web site will come up

1. Could you please tell me who was attacked by me??? WHO? I DID NOT EVEN mention HIS name! I would like HIM to DELETE the poems that are not belong to him. That’s it. And I will not bother him no more, he can stay here, post poems or flirt anyone he likes, it is not my business.

2. I NEVER send him a private mail. And I do not want to post something bad on his poem either. I know if I posted a comment that said, “This is not your poem, the author of this poem is …… with reference LINK /website …..” He will be so embarrassed since everyone will know who he is which I don’t want that. I don’t need to kill him alive; I only want him to do the right thing. Write his own poems! Shame, I wouldnt be upset if he stole yours not that someone I know very well!!

3. If I want to make him embarrassed, I will send a lot of msg to him and even post his name on board with the biggest font size. I can do many things to get rid of him without getting myself into trouble!!!

4. Noone knows who he is, but everyone knows who I am. My profile is completed with info and pics. I'm through, how about u? If I hate him I wouldnt get myself into trouble, I'd just report him and that he'd be gone. And, I can still be an angel in everyone eyes, not that such a devil like this.

5. Actually, he doesnt need to understand my good intention. I only want him to read this and delete the poems that he copied. … That’s all I want.

My friend John, I will not gonna tell you who he is, cus I didn’t want to make him embarrassed.

But if Schwalski never stop, I have a lot of things about him to report the public, for example, he asked me to write a poem about him and post on the board to let everyone know many times. I've no idea why and it's not my problem so I just ignore it.

and yeah, he told the world that I am an angel in disguise many times when I have never ever done anything bad to him. NOT even once. ... also he told me he is a nice guy and he will put a pic on this profile since last month or maybe last two months.

Schwal, believe me it’s not worth to leave your comment to me here. I know you have nothing to lose, you don’t even have full info or a pic It would be beneficial to you if you stay still in your place or your hole whatever you call. ^_*

I am not good at english I may type or say something I shouldn't. Sometimes I am out of control. ^_^Bye for now. I wil delete my post if he deleted all illegal poems. ok. Bye for now.

Got to agree with Ladybee on this one, their are no prizes for poems here and a lot of people myself included are not poets just writing and making a connection a different kind of friendship when maybe just maybe we meet.
So although wrong maybe a connection was needed in a lonely life

Wow Sassy...you are back with a vengeance....I thought I knew alot of famous poems but I have to say I've never seen any on here that I would call plagarised. Maybe a famous line used as a title but very famous authors do that.

You must follow the poetry much closer than I do. You've really got me intrigued now.

Dear Macdufff, to be honest, I do not know any famous poets! I know only Shakespeare -_-‘’. I am just a normal girl who do not like English at all and I don’t speak English in my country. I am just a very simple girl that love English poetry without knowing why, I have to open my dict for findin out the meaning in some poems when I normally am lazy to open the dict!!! I only know I love to read poetry!!! >_</// SO MUCH!

There are many illegal poems here, I know but I do not want to get into a trouble then I always keep my mouth shut… BUT whatta small world! one of poems he copied was belong to someone I know and love. I’m not surprised you don’t know them cus it’s just a normal simple poem from no one special, only a human being… -_-‘’

I feel sorry to myself now, I should be more calm and report the site to remove him, and that he has to re-register again. I didn’t mean to hurt anyone, I wanna let ‘the only one’ know himself not that ‘everyone’ knows who he is. +_+ ‘’ My English is bad .. -_-‘’ I don’t know how to explain you… I just can’t help it when many people gave him a lot of compliments n he seemed to be so proud of the other poems and never wanted to do the right thing even if some people already told him!!!!
