I remember several centuries ago visiting Qatar (Doha) well actually, it was 1971, (but it feels like centuries ago) when I was serving in the Royal Air Force. To this day I recall the fierce heat and humidity - it was around 40c and within a minute of the aircraft doors being opened, my freshly laundered shirt was soaked right through in sweat, and there wasn't a dry thread left - by the time I walked to the passenger lounge I thought I was going to simply melt away like a snowball in Hell.
GET TO THE POINT, FELLSMAN:
What I cannot understand Dear Swan, is how you can write such a COOL poem in such blazing HEAT.

it is like HELL here and beleive me 40c is a very good one !
The other day when i was heading back to work at 2:00 pm , the temp. was around 54c !!!!!! I WAS MELTING LIKE AN ICE-CREAM !
