I want to travel and see some things,
In search of adventure and what life brings,
I'm not afraid to leave my home,
I will not stay here on my own!
To be lonely is so sad,
To let life pass you by is bad,
To have no one to share with you,
To have no clue what you will do,
Now is the time to move along,
I will find out where I belong,
Inspiration I will find,
As the emptyness I leave behind,
The cloud is lifting as the sun appears,
I feel I am turning back the years,
Pride in myself has returned,
Doubts and worries have been burned,
I won't look back or dwell on the past,
As I aim to be first and never again last,
I have left behind all I don't need,
To get on with the life I will lead.
