Cherub

Cherub
A century has passed since your holy deed,
An unselfish cherub that never knew greed
You saved all your pennies for those in need,
But a hundred years later did anyone heed?

The pastor who took you in from the cold
For the story of Jesus' for you to unfold,
Had to bury you with your heart of gold
For Jesus to take you in his arms to hold.

With tears I write through one bleary eye
Wondering why such a child would die,
But the answer comes as I type and cry:
This little girl loved, too much, is why. 13/07/"11

There was a story on the innernet about this angelic little girl that was greatly exaggerated.I found the true story by googling,
"Temple Baptist Church,Philadelphia "Thank you both very much.you're very generous with your compliments.
Windy, you should read "Trust Me".God bless
