Suddenly the nothingness was brand new Trying not to think of you is all I can do The form and substance of a harsh reality Lost in a colorless void lacking any clarity
Cutting deep into my soul crushing all ego Helpless to spinning incessant vertigo Chocking sorrow, in pain, and without grace Floating alone in the vast blackness of space
A deafening silent peace I knew all to well In maddening tears so violent it was like in Hell My eyes ever searching but here all sight must fade In this vacuum not even a scream can be made
Blinded, lost, lacking any sensation of the day All alone I prayed; Lord just take me away! Ghostly translucent thoughts came to me Here in this colorless void drifting free
Swimming in an sea devoid of stuff Time felt as if a second put through eons of enough Suspended in time and lost to any more history Just the blackness of the colorless void and me

About this poem:
If we loved and lost then we have been to that dark empty place.

Yes IamTab, Lost Love will always leave that dark void..for awhile hopefully. I liked your poem written well of those dark feelings.. Last two lines sums it up well, thank you for sharing

Thanks Morgagna it took quite some time to get this worded right, and think there is still room for some improvement. I do like how it reads but I am going to play with some diferent ways to say things and see how that works.
