The Breeze

The Breeze

The breeze awoke me laying on my bed cold and bare
Wisping me from my sorrows to a valley rich with fair

Tears still filling my eyes from weeping throughout the night
The treasures went unseen as these lonely tears I try to fight

Lord I cried this cannot be, for my love is gone from me
Alone on the battlefield of life so vast it all I cannot see

Captivated in a moment caught up in an enchanted dream
My lover spoke, I saw the look of love that the eyes gleam

I shed me armor and dropped my silk scarf tied lance
Eager and yearning for that instant of love had every chance

“I'm here my love!” whispered tenderly, soft, sweet, and low
I came as was promised to take you where our love may forever grow

We found ourselves in each others arms warmed by the heat
Passions swept us both to that place where Heaven and Earth meet
