Dream on
The music says,
Not in words as it plays,
But in emotions that stab the heart.
It finds the notions compelling every part
Of me to ponder - and to wonder,
If you understand
What it's like, if you can
Accept the needs of mine,
Or does it only just remind
You to regret days gone by.
The times when you and I
Were more then friends,
And now,without amends
You play the game of hurt and go,
Little do you care, or even know,
What we had in all those years
Has ended as a life of tears.
