My Imagination

My imagination is a marvelous thing
It takes me places I've never seen,
And I can have what ever I want,
I can visit my old favorite haunts.
I can have any car that I see,
A Rolls Royce maybe or a restored Model T.
I can have the fastest jet plane,
I'll fly 'cross the water in to Spain,
And then I'll visit near-by France,
Next to Vienna, - I'll go to a dance.
From there it's off to a tropical isle,
The weather's fine, I'll stay there a while.
I can conduct the famed Boston Pops
Playing Beatle's tunes which were at the top.
I can dine at the finest cafes,
I'll buy the business if I don't like their ways.
All this must stop and come to an end,
Back down to earth and make my amends,
I'll face the fact - I'm at my station,
I do all these things in my imagination.

Great poem. It is nice we can imagine ourselves in any situation and enjoy at least as a dream. Glad that I too have a vivid imagination! hug
