Weep Not Fair Maiden

Weep not fair maiden, for thou art loved,
more than any damsel I have yet beheld.
Though thy lover has deserted you
and left you broken hearted.
Weep not fair maiden, for my heart breaks
to see you so saddened by his cruelty.
To gaze upon thy radiance,
puts the shining sun to shame.
The moon and stars are mere reflections
of your pale alabaster flesh.
Thy lips the hue of pomegranites,
thy hair the colour of corn silk.
Crystal clear pools of azure waters
are envious of your twinkling eyes.
Let not one teardrop fall upon your
dimpled cheek.
Though thou hast never gazed upon my longing face.
This face so deformed by natures unkind whim.
I love You.
Weep not fair maiden, for thou art truly loved.

About this poem:
To love someone so much, knowing that she will never glance in your direction, and if per chance she did, would be repulsed by your admiring stare. How sad and cruel life can be.
