Chill looking for warmth in all the corners of my existence Legs heavy tired moving not slowing continuing the path My warmth giving in to cold giving up the resistance I continue holding tight you are my hope what I cling to Once I nearly lost you not caring I almost walked on But I turned and picked you up to continue our journey At times you were close to being kept by me all alone Now I fear our time has came to it's end Look and you will see the bright lights up ahead Our journey will cease there my friend With trembling finger I trace your face Realizing in this new time new era You my friend have sadly been replace

About this poem:
Now I know why my lucky coin is lucky. Have not used a pay phone in years. But....surprise they take a little more than what I remembered :( Thank goodness some people are nice enough to let others borrow a land line when there is no cell service and the old auto picks a cold dark night to give it's driver a little exercise.
Awww! You can definitely never be replaced Happy, watch the Big Bang Theory - the one where Sheldon wants to extend his life long enough to be able to be replaced by a robot - soooo funny!
Hey windy I love technology but sometimes I rebel I have never owned a dish washer, ipod, but yet I have computers and I have the net on my phone. What I hate to see leaving and it has been doing it slowly but doing it just the same is the tactile book or newspaper. There is just something about cuddling up to a good book in bed when you have nothing else to cuddle up too. The kindle or computer is not the same for me
I am very much like you Happy...I still prefer a good book to read...without a glaring screen... there is something about turning the pages of a book especially in bed...
