It is indefatigable
never tiring
Creeping up like a thief
So that you never notice it
Silently
like a unknown predator
Stalking you
Suddenly you realize
that time has passed
And you
are
Suddenly
A little greyer,
A little slower,
Perhaps even a little
Wiser
And then you wonder
Where did
the time
Go?
