I wonder what has happened To my little slice of heaven It used to so pleasant Nowadays mostly it seems hell bent
Can't we just pause for a moment No attacking each other If you can't be nice, be cordial If not, no need to comment or bother
We all have viewpoints to share And to post our thoughts and feelings That is the main reason we are here To read, console, encourage and cheer
Now I am not saying we're perfect Of course not, we are only human With frailty and faults abound
But I am really missing My little slice of heaven That was earthbound

About this poem:
Just some thoughts about the drama recently on here. This is my online refuge especially after a long day. I enjoy reading the poems by the very talented poets(male and female). Let's be gentle with one another as we are each on life's journey and we all need to help one another.
I agree with you, dear poetess, this is a slice of heaven, this little corner, for me too, and, yes, we are frail and have many faults - exactly so, but I am hopeful sky will clear up and there will be sunshine again, as always. This poem is the epitome of kindness and goodwill. Thank you very much for sharing!
Don't worry any more ladies. I shall take full responsibility for everything and now that I am gone, you'll be back to normal before you no where you are. Peace Is restored, don't worry. Your corner Is back. I was actually just back hear to make sure everything was gone. I wish you both well.

Hi Marikia, It is a wonderful place isn't it. It is actually why I joined this site as everyone was so welcoming and encouraging. My online time is very short and most of it is spent here although I visit the blogs, the corner is where my heart is.

Hi Mike, One hopes that peace is restored and although you took the blame we know it wasn't your fault. Continue to write your wonderful poetry and we hope you are back here soon in our little slice of heaven. God bless

Can't we just pause for a moment No attacking each other
Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;Where there is hatred, let me sow love;Where there is injury, pardon;Where there is error, truth;Where there is doubt, faith;Where there is despair, hope;Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy.
Hi Sharon, just a moment. No problem Chrissie, as I was saying to Sharon, "All Is well In the corner now." Now , I shall get back to normal. These are the consequences I forgot about. I forget my brain Isn't quite as strong as the normal folks. I'll just let It heal slowly then be right back. Sharon, my mother's gentle giant Is back upon his throne. Everyone has taken a breath, now out and have some fun. I shall see you when I return, ready to let the heart sing to the stars. Thank you Sharon, for making me feel better today. You have a good day. Catch you later. Your Friend always....MIKE.

Well said dear Sharon ,,and said in such a calm and gentle way So many have written to me lately , who have all had quite enough of all this drama , ill feeling ,foul language and personal attacks on our beloved "Corner ". It is completely inappropriate, and makes many people feel uncomfortable and indeed hesitant about posting poetry here lately , myself included . If a poster feels upset with another ,,it should be dealt with PRIVATELY ! I am like you Sharon in that I work very hard all day , and I so enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of this little haven at night for nearly 2 years now . I sincerely hope peace will reign again , in order that I , and others will feel more inclined to post more poetry .
Be kind to one another - life is so short !
Well done again Sharon for the message contained within your poem - I concur wholeheartedly - I hope all is going well with you - F
Lovely thoughtful write Sharon, I couldn't agree more ! Mick.

Thank you for this wonderful reminder Sharon. As imperfect beings disagreements will arise from time to time. Some readily justifiable but yet others may not strike a chord as to why it arose in the first place. But most of us here have known each other for quite some time now so while such disagreements may occur it is not something permanent that will permanently disrupt the peace that resides here. I totally understand where you are coming from and the heartfelt sentiments expressed therein. We fall, we learn and rise above the entanglements of disagreements. Thanks once more for sharing this inspiring write Sharon. Keep well my friend and the three hugs offered is sent right back at you.
