Easy on the spirit It brings more bruises than healing Drowning your miseries is not a good move Just because you come here everyday Doesn't mean her odd of showing up is greater But yes, you will forget how you shortchanged yourself Of your love But you will always remember How she never could earn your trust Of course, you now know How wrong that was.
What you don't know That day when you stood her up The rain was incessant and non stop? She tried so hard not to cry She rushed outside to feel the rain And drowned her pain I wanted to offer my heart But I just knew hers belongs to you.
Now you may play your life inside that glass And suppress that sorrow inside your heart But the truth is: she's gone and alone In her cold and lonely tomb.
And you will never know How much she has really loved you.
Very deep write SR...It is sad how sometimes we can love one but the one can never love us as much. It seems to me there is always one in a relationship that loves more, loves deeper... truer... it's their loss anyway. Choices...good or bad...how greatly they affect our lives...

I don't know what was story behind this beautiful poetry but I tell you what movie pictures went true my mind while reading it. Two people who loved each other dearly but where separated by distant continents and man had an affare with other women, due to lonliness and missing physical sutisfactions so the affer come in open althrough following regrat for consequences to lose real love of women that he adored but betrayal can't be undone and she's wondering could she forgive it, give understanding and overcome disapointments that her love was strong to fight all challenges while with all his love he couldn't overcome physical needs ...Sorry dear friend, I just have rich imagination. Great poem !

my sweet friend, a heart that has been hurt and bruised will always take so much longer to trust and sometimes will never know the heart that offers love is always hurt when they can't see.
One door has to close so you can see the one opening that is right for you, time heals and the bruises fade, and one day you understand why your path was here.

Very deep and moving poem Phyllis .. How wasteful and silly some are to throw away such a loving person Some people realise only when it's too late what they have truly lost . A sorrowful yet beautifully touching poem indeed my friend -F
