It's half past midnight And I'm alone In this dreary unlit room Your words still hanging On this empty and shadowed wall Painted in Red and Orange Our chosen symbol Of what forever is But that was before you knew You're more for Black and Blue As if to unmask your hidden pains That crippled our hearts Throwing all our hopes Scattered in oblivion And I'm still so all alone Waiting In this dreary unlit room.

Thanks Beautiful you, as usual your comments are so much valued by me and give so much inspiration and you, too, lift me up, always.
"You're more for Black and Blue..." I'm sorry SR, I such an experience can be traumatic, and is never forgotten, but it is my hope that you have healed...enough to continue to try. Very heart-felt melancholia..."beautiful write! Robert

Waiting
In this dreary unlit room.
The demons always visit us when we are alone in a dreary unlit room, the hours before dawn can weigh heavy when we are alone. Stay strong.
