dreaming of you is not much easier for me you know? like at night when I swim alone in the ocean of my pain? when my body shivers feeling your breathing? I stood up headed to the kitchen- struggled to find your ice cream! I am concerned I might go, drive in the rain so I can please you and then make love again? and just as when in a heartbeat you held my hand your looks caressing my eyes and as you bent down to kiss my craving lips the rising sun beamed and woke me up
I am your prisoner, that even in my sleep you give me no room to rest I can't stop thinking of you
without love without anger without sorrow breath is just a clock ticking.

Non I think because Socrates said that no matter what we do we're always going to suffer. Quote: WE SUFFER WHEN WE DON'T GET WHAT WE WANT, WE SUFFER WHEN WE GET WHAT WE DON'T WANT AND STILL WE SUFFER WHEN WE GET WHAT WE WANT BECAUSE WE ARE AFRAID IT WOULDN'T STAY WITH US FOREVER.
So there. Love is pain.
Kahlil Gibran. Also said on his take on love. :ISN'T IT THAT THOSE THAT GIVES YOU PLEASURE. ARE THE VERY ONES THAT CAUSE YOU PAIN?" Then OSHO said :"PAIN AND PLEASURE IS ONE AND THE SAME:"

Hi Phyllis, a beautiful piece of poetry, we all go to sleep to dream of pleasureable events like a partner you love or have lost it is a dream but when you finally wake up you realise it was just a dream, or waking up may well be your nightmare of losing the feeling your dream gave you there is a fine line between dreams and nightmares, and nightmares don't always scare the pants of you, but you never give up as dreaming is a passion and very seldom the same dream comes along, so it is another new experience to live through and enjoy. this poetry site has many great poets and you share this passion with them all this brings wonderful poems here for everyone to enjoy, you always express your self well in your interpretations, I just popped in today to read some poems I am a little down at the moment and your poems cheer me up thanks for sharing Phyllis.

Dear Phyllis I hope I have read this correctly, after reading twice I feel in this poem you are missing seeing someone so much your dreaming of them only to wake and find they are not there, Just didn't want to send the wrong message with my comment, as I love those dreams and don't want to wake from them, Love and hugs Angie
Phyllis Nice poem hit me really hard. I felt like you took my breathe away. Lately i go to bed every night dreaming of my husband who passed away. I wake up thinking he is coming through the door. I think this is because of how lonely i have become. He comforts me in my dreams and leaves me longing for a closeness in the morning.

Anthony thanks so much. My great pleasure to see you and say such a very assuring comment. Yes I hope my future is going to be filled with love not only me loving but him also that love me will love me. that we both will love each other. That is the ultimate future Anthony and thanks. First he has to find me first...I already have, but it doesn't look like it is meant to be.
Thanks so much, and my appreciation always.
