I may not contain the realms of your reflection neither would you give me the honor to be owned and yet in your mind I want to belong and in its brilliance get drowned many a thousand times.
with your strong hands you already fathomed the bottom of my heart and mapped my soul with your piercing and penetrating eyes and I am well aware, the world is your playground.
you are nobody's fool succinct and straight to the points your exuberance intoxicating at times extends here and beyond like a raging bull stomping the ground I stand on.
I know and I understand when it comes to substance my heart and my mind dry like the arid sand but you made me feel crowned just by wanting to know that I made it home safe and sound.
I can only say I feel such warmth and depth in this amazing poem..Love with no bounds...just a stunning read...It has a very soothing effect on what lies within a private thought...

A magnificent piece of work masterfully penned to the last letter.
Hi Phyllis, it amuses me how you can write a brilliant piece like Reflections and then in your comment you almost treat the poem as if it were worthless. This is a Fantastic write so take a bow ! Regards.....Mick.

Just the "idea" of being found significant in another's mind and heart...makes all the difference. I do not know if it is me, today, because I am feeling kind'a down, but this poem brings to my mind how lonely I am, and how wonderful it would be to be thought lovingly of another. Beautifully poignant!...Excellent work SR! Robert

Mike I am so sorry. Didn't mean to miss you and neither did I want to ignore your rather unusual comment. But just the same I totally understand. You are right, it is a product of a deep thinking I guess.
