Rain
Sitting here quietly watching the rain fall,
watching the drops form on my window pane,
so many memories from my mind I can recall,
some happy and many filled with so much pain,
The wind blows softly and raindrops meander,
sun shines then it dulls with the clouds,
smiling happily as I get my spirits to clamber,
one thing about rain it disperses the crowds,
Each drop falls to the ground unabated,
nourishing the earth to start new life,
life in itself is not rarely rated,
so much trouble and too much strife,
Gently the rain it keeps falling,
the clouds as well keep strolling,
smile to oneself and stop your stalling,
friends say get yourself together, try bowling,
But you wonder why you get the tears,
look at those drops giving life,
get over the problems and your fears,
soon be dark and then you have the moonlight,
The rain itself washes away all,
including your own self doubt,
so sit and watch it fall,
soon it will be warm and sunny you shout,

About this poem:
Rain is everywhere no matter where we are some get it heavily others sparsely yet it is very much like life itself we get good rain and bad we just have to adjust to overcome obstacles.
Was going to have a break but mind keeps ticking over and words want to flow, whether its good or indifferent it helps me to put down how I think or feel. So again the feelings get me to pen more.

Your poem is very emotive,
it stirs in me my own obstacles...
I am very pleased that you are going on
hiatus from your pain...I hope your respite
lasts for your lifetime.
Wonderful read!
Thanks for sharing
