Amid intoxicating green, our Love bestow, I plucked for her a bunch of forest flowers, A lovestruck arrow strayed from Cupid's bow, And pierced a tearful cloud to April showers. We trod the rugged path towards the steeple, Together dancing wildly in the rain, Flirting unaware of passing people, To please our yearning we could not abstain. Her female curves my wanting eyes impress, She moved with poise and grace of noble swan, To blushing moon removed her silken dress, Our pleading Siamese limbs conjoined as one.
'Til the moon with bloodshot eye expelled a yawn, Retiring then bowed curtsy to the dawn.
Her female curves my wanting eyes impress, She moved with poise and grace of noble swan, To blushing moon removed her silken dress, Our pleading Siamese limbs conjoined as one.
How are you my friend Mick. Hope all is rozy in your camp?

OMG Mick... Your picture and the beginning of this poem hide something that takes me by surprise... A bit like that lucky woman was taken, by the sound ot things..
Hi Mizzy4... Only read a couple of your poems. Beautiful images... I'm half Irish and I knew it is a beautiful country.... and you describe it vividly... by the way, The Quiet Man is one of my favorite movies. Thank you for commenting on ELVIS.... I consider that a real compliment coming from you. Barbara
