Cold Coming On

We shared a box of Kleenex;
called in sick that day;
our sniffles genuine;
back to bed we stayed.

No amount of aspirin
could break the fever
dangerously set,
as we indulged
in all the pleasure
that we could get.

Our fevers broke eventually
with no chicken soup required;
Passion that riveted our bodies
melted the sheets
until we became too tired.

Dear #1,
Thank you, I don't know where this stuff is coming from. It just happens over a cup of coffee. This new coffee maker rocks. peace
