Tears in the rain

Eyes closed and darkness I see
I listen to a calming beat
A beautiful sound
That only when I rest my head can found

I breath in through my nose
An intoxicating scent stirs my senses
Locked in a memory so profound
The scent so vibrant
My head it surrounds

I reach out
My fingers find touch
A feeling textured in velvet and blush
Skin caressed a moment un-rushed

I lay beside you in this loving embrace
Stop all the clocks let me stay in this place
Are hearts are entwined
I have your's and you have mine

I feel the raindrops
My hands full of clay
I open my eyes
I find myself at your grave

My tears flow openly
Disguised by the rain
Nothing in this world
Can describe my pain

I want to join you
I want to give up
A gust of wind lifts me
And from my bended knee
I rise up

You give me the strength
To walk away
You inspire me to live on
In the dark nights
When I am alone in my bed
I feel your gentle kiss on my forehead
