I want to taken away from this world on the same wings The same wings that gracefully carried you away As I stand on this my judgment day I want the same wings to carry me high into the sky I am ready and I have said my goodbye’s
I want to be carried away On the same wings that swooped down and caught you that day I want them to carry me so high and place me be beside you
So we can smile, laugh, cry and sing The way we used to when we were kids Do you remember the swing
I want to sit beside you and show you my life Full of memories I had as I wished you were by my side I hope you watched me as I laughed, I loved I lived my life Sometimes my sadness could not be disguised As I looked to you, I looked to the skies
I wanted to ask you Why you left so early without saying goodbye Why you walked away that day Why you decided to take your own life
Now that I see you I just wanted to say I was never the same after that day I was sad inside for what was taken away But I decided to live my life knowing I would see you again one one day
I would we would smile, laugh, cry and sing Together we would giggle as we remember the swing.
