STILL LIFE BEAUTY.....
It hangs on a wall, drawing eyes
Nature lovers gasp, other sigh
A simple vase, so elegant holds
Beauty exotic, fragile yet bold
Garden blooms, variety so bright
Set in a frame, give forever delight
Sunflowers glow, as a sun shines
Always uplifting, till the end of time
Daisy petals, as eyelashes so white
Golden centre, pure innocent sight
Happy pansy, wears a smile so real
Rosebud so precious, you want to feel
Velvet texture, richness you can trust
Flower of love, exciting-emotional-lust
Tulip, carnation, freesia and bluebells
One blossom of each, as the artist tells
Their story of beauty, cut so must die
Sealed in perfection, for future highs
Of all who observe, frozen in time
Displayed in a vase, forever so fine
No longer in need, sun for light
Filtering warmth, strength and height
Forms real bunch, so balanced in life
Seductive-pure, beauty their only vice
