SPECIAL PEOPLE.

Special people, we meet through life.
Smooths way forward, easing strife.
Passing through, during difficult times
Hovering close by, watching for signs

Until it's time, to show what matters.
Like a caring cook, ladens platters,
of treats to bring smiles, to a sad face.
Or hugging arms, making one feel safe.

We call them friends, whoever they are.
Whether living close, or watch from afar.
To feel lucky, having someone to care
Supported when needed, able to share.

Friendship so precious, better than wealth,
many will agree, true friendship and health.
Walk hand in hand, with a peaceful grace.
Allowing life to be, our happiness space.

Yes, Niah there are special people in this world and they a rare to meet. Nice written piece.
Read your comment about the storm you went through, glad you are safe.
Here in Florida, hurricanes are constant. Lightning here in Tampa is ever going, it is said to be the Capital City of lightning. I live on the 8th Floor so when that happens is very scary seeing the voltage power in the sky just meters away from your window. SM

Southmaimi....thank you for your kind words, and I can imagine how scary that lightening would be.
After watching the tall trees that edge my garden by the road sway, in what seemed like several direction at once, some branches dangled , before dropping, and even my cat seemed to know, not to venture underneath.
Today a specialist will come to see how they can be tidied, though I think a very tall silver birch, might need to be drastically topped. At least mine didn't topple as many did locally, and of course an area several hours drive away, is still like a war zone, so we were very lucky locally....Niah
