Female estrus is 6–17 days out of a full 37-day cycle, and females will advertise fertility with urinary scent marks and increased vocalization. robins,magpies,and crows are all protected under fedral law. Robins have a 40% success rate and usually only have one chick to raise out of the 3 to 5 eggs she lays or hatches,all the rest get eaten or lost.Robins are life mates and the male is a non migrator, the female migrates every year.
