The end of a stormy day.....
This is my first attempt at writing an English sonnet form about the nature of light.
A sonnet that reflects that magical time in the Vermont woods when maple sugaring season begins...the smoke rises from many sugarhouses out in the maple sugarbush...
In this sonnet I reflect how in familiar New England woods remains a childhood playground where my imagination still marvels over the discoveries made over many years.
