Poetic prose (wrote this in 1968 in Winnipeg, Canada)
Sun shining bright Life feels alright Leaves all green Flowers in bloom Colors bursting Birds chirping away, Hummingbirds dancing around Making musical sounds Butterflies floating in the sky Leaving their dust behind Bees buzzing around
Within a forest in a glade, Is Nature's finest green brocade, It's nestled by a secret stream, Inside the mirror of a dream. If I should pause, to change direction, Go to that place of soft reflection, To sit beneath a sylvan bower, Some dap
You may see him standing, In the white glare of the Sunlight, On wind-blasted panes of ice;- A Winters' Sea compressed, To float across the salty emptyness. Now the Bear stands as a symbol;- As solar light returns to white;- Above a lat

The purple petals darken in the gloaming;- In their flowered elegance, belles' dresses, Fall in a slowly darkling Summer night;- To the fecund loamy softness of the earth; Where the purpleness dissolves into the air;- And creatures stir. Sof
The famous Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, about 60 km west of Sydney. The "Blue" colour is caused by the refraction of sunlight through a very fine vapour of eucalyptus oil given off by thousands of trees in the heat of the day.
Mother Nature is unsettled. Is the world in disbelief ?
One breezy day suddenly this simple idea came in my mind about the day. I had some sort of tranquil and ecstatic feeling at that time.
I love those brief early summer nights when fireflies so delight my childlike curiosity.
A few years ago I woke surrounded by a harbour, not living at the side. I had 4 Great Danes and 2 New Foundlands, and sat on comfy couch amongst my dogs. We were raised out of the water, as we waited the water level to subside. We'd moved the horses and stock in time, just incase.......but sadly recent floods came with no warning for so many......

Alone, being alone, colourful visions, deep in my mind, Eyelids flicker in wonderment, from what my eyes have seen, Yet those dreams of mine are lost in time when I awake, And though I try to recite for to remember the night, my dreams are
picturing birds on watch as the farmer tills..
So we live our lives in a linear way, we are born, we live, we die, nothing more to say? First Spring, wonderful and new, then Summer appears, brings happiness and fears, seems to last so long, but then its gone, and Autumn takes its rightful place
This is my signature piece of writing, as conveyed in the last three paragraphs: "At such moments alone with nature one can feel a strange unity .with everything around. Unity that is so strong and overpowering that one loses consciousness of one's individual self; one has no consciousness of time and space but only of that moment - the infinite eternal NOW. One's consciousness seems to merge with a deeper consciousness of the unity of all things in nature and the cosmos. One experiences an awareness of a deeper reality that is impossible to describe in words. One makes contact with one's cosmic roots in a dimension where time and space are irrelevant. It is the synchronisation of one's consciousness with the absolute and ultimate reality of the cosmos." As a young boy, around nine or ten, I used to love to be in the sugar-cane fields in my native tropical island, Trinidad. I got a natural high, being dazzled by the brilliant sunshine and listening to the sighing of the sugar cane leaves as they swayed in the breeze like the waves of the ocean. I felt that Nature was speaking to me, transporting me to another world where I connected with my cosmic roots, becoming part of the unity of all things.
Writing about memories in relation to a garden, the garden in our minds where memories abide
The song pertains to a little bit in everyone. The past, present, and future tense of what we had, what we lost, and regaining the strength to live on; but, also, to remind ourselves to never give up the thought of possibilities. I wrote this one 8-26-2021

Some say it's...finding themselves.....and accepting it.....
Beauty of changing colours....mesmerize and haunt.....and so often taken for granted......until they are past...never to be seen again
