Sunrise
As the sun slowly crests the horizon
Life stirs, the world awakens
You can feel the earth move beneath your feet
As if slow rhythmic breathing
And as you lay your ear to the ground
You can almost hear a faint heartbeat
It is then you feel one with the earth
As you surrender to the peace of the morning
