RENDERED SPEECHLESS

Lying out on Pensacola Beach under scorching rays
while engrossed in TK101 Rock my mind strays
As I lie sweating profusely burning sand covers me
some found my eyes negating opening them to see

Startled I quickly raise up to rid sticky body of the grit
I wipe my stinging eyes managing to open them a bit
After focusing I see this Goddess starring down at me
her resplendence far greater than any desired fantasy

I then heard "I'm so sorry" in the sexiest possible voice
"Can you ever forgive me" like that was even a choice
I'm struggling to process this Venus of genuine mystique
brain's screaming respond but I'm too stupefied to speak

Again saying I'm so sorry as she's turns to walk away
she glanced back and winked saying "see you someday"
If we cross paths again words won't be so hard to find
I'm certain visions of she will never escape my mind

When I lay back down thoughts run rampant in my head
F.Y.I... I did get to see her later that evening while in bed

Winter Evening

Cold,silent dusk
Gold tints west,
Birds fly to rest.

Steaming broth
Warms the insides
Cosy evening fire burns.

Nostalgia takes over,
Sweet & bitter plays
The scenes on blank wall

Wintry days,silence reigns
Brings to mind
Sweetness or sadness.

About this poem:
Just sweet & sad thoughts of home fill my mind as I sit alone looking out of the window, watching the few sparrows braving the cold ( past their bed time ) to eat the crumbs.

Dressed in White..

Silently fall soft snowy bride,
Beneath cold waning moon,
Adorn our naked countryside,
Like white confetti strewn.

Tonight to meet her beau Jack Frost,
She'll wear his sparkling gems,
Lace glinting dress and veil embossed,
With diamond studded hems.

So many joys can Winter bring,
In frozen mystery,
To celebrate our new born King,
Bright star of history.

Young children dance 'neath snow clad roofs,
They sence how Santa's near,
While soon to trace fresh track of hooves,
From his red-nosed reindeer.

I long to see white postcard sights,
Amid sub-zero wind,
Then under lonely Christmas lights,
Pray for lost souls that sinned.

Coils of wire

This is not these day and not these night
not these birds
yours sat on the knit of the moon
they sing a lullaby
or they fall silent in the dark.
Not this time and season
rain will not make icicles
and icicles will not flow downstream
on hot skin.
Not this place and not this house
I beat my head against the green wall
and I was thinking
it could have been better if you
did not coil the moon's wires
the birds have nowhere to sit.

Days

There are days when you cry
though not a single tear
does not run down the cheek.
There are words
that are born in bitterness,
though they will never be said.
There are moments
of great loneliness
although it is full of people.
There are cloudy days,
full of rain
and one would like
to sink into their streams.
There is a time
when you want to find yourself
but don't know where to look.

Bonfire

A bush burning in the summer heat
A mind replenishes and repeats
How splendid those colors struck
Against the steel blue sky
And here I am leaning against time
Trying to support myself again
Standing up straight for the world
Let us all observe and welcome peace
Truly love today and our future will
Be kind and furnish much warmth
To make it part of our everyday
Seek not less than we're worth
Standing together close today
No love should exist so unbridled
To be free and wild with the wind
To float amongst the clouds so white
Fuels our energy with such delight
Rising and falling with the darkness
A burning bush lighting up the night
We laugh and marvel with all our might
And drink and be merry to great delight
Weaving and wobbling our way home

Glove

I am wearing a glove, see it here on my hand,
The glove I intend to be part of myself.
A riddle is hidden under the glove,
Sweet to remember, leading thought to dark.

Here on my hand sweet sensation does rest
Of slender fingers of prettiest hand.
And just like a song that keeps playing in me
My friend the glove keeps reminding of thee.

Each has a riddle which leads us to dark
I have my glove as a sweet memoir
The glove I intend to keep on till time
Of our next meeting, reunion time.

About this poem:
The author is a remarkable Russian symbolist poet of the beginning of the 20th century Nikolai Gumiliov. In 1921 he was shot by the revolutionary government on the charge of taking part in a counterrevolutionary plot. But in reality he died due to refusal to divulge information about the plot. His wife – an outstanding Russian poet Anna Akhmatova - wrote in despair: My husband's in grave, My son is in cell, I plead you to pray for me, pray.

Train to now where

The wheels turn the noise echos on the tracks voices heard chit a chat music loud deafens ones ears
One longs for peace and solitude
Destination known
One travels to destinations end

where one goes one is unknown till one arrives
