Why Not!
Life has no guaranties I know,
But I sometimes wonder am I guaranteed to be alone.
All I want is someone to grow old with, share my life with.
The ups and downs are expected,
But wouldn't it be nice if it wasn't so hectic.
Doing it alone is hard as you well know,
And sometimes it's easier that way, NO!
So is it time to take another chance?
Put my heart on the line and go for romance?
Should I let down my wall
And say 'so what if I fall'?
Isn't that what it's about,
Taking the chance and sending it out?
So here it is, my heart is yours.
It may be used and a little bruised,
But has the life I'd share with you.
Now without the words read between the lines,
And open your heart to share yours with mine.

About this poem:
If you didn't get it by reading this, it is about taking chances even though you have been hurt. I wrote this back in 2001 when I was considering finding a relationship and oddly enough it was when I first tried a site like this. I found someone and got hurt again.Though this is the first time since to use a site like this I still keep an open mind when I meet a guy that is interested in me. 1) You never know what can happen and 2) Whatever Happens, Happens!
God felt loving Connections

I was sitting here feeling my energy flowing through my body....
and I was remineded of how your feminie sweetness and loving kindness
flows gently, sweetly and wonderfully when we are together.
The way we look into and feel each others eyes with admiration and loving tenderness
and how you look gently away to the side and as you smile ever so sweetly...
and with a girly lightness in you movement you look downward and smile again affirmingly without losing that tingling intimate loving connection.
As the flow builds silently within me I feel the waves of flow and love building, moving in waves of glory as I picture our bodies, though not physically touching ...
Flowing and moving together in unison, like a gentle flowing dance.
Then you reach across and grab my hand firmly, lovingly, holding your loving still gaze in mine, and drawing me in...
you place it on you heart.
This is where I have stopped moving,
(though the flow somehow continues to move gently within our sillness)
to feel you, to learn from you...
about you...
Silently, intimately...
The meaning of true feeling and a God felt loving connection

Well the room is crowded, there's people everywhere And I wonder, should I offer you a chair? Well if you sit down with this old clown, take that frown and break it, Before the evening's gone away, I think that we could make it,
And I hope that I don't fall in love with you.
I can see that you are lonesome just like me, and it being late, You'd like some some company, Well I've had two, I look at you, and you look back at me, The guy you're with has up and split, the chair next to you's free,
And I hope that you don't fall in love with me.
And I hope that you don't fall in love with me.
Now it's closing time, the music's fading out Last call for drinks, I'll have another stout. Turn around to look at you, you're nowhere to be found, I search the place for your lost face, guess I'll have another round

Why torture me with pangs of love which I seek and want to find

Love is a Many Splendored Thing!
Ah! Sweet Maiden, you of beauty in heart and soul
Feel the warmth within our sharing hearts
To love or not to love
For if my heart died a thousand times
Would you have me forever die again and again?
If so! Tis, done fair maiden, but before I drink of
death’s tragic ending,
Live with me in passions unknown or by very few
Share the wetness and burning fire of our never ending kisses
The splendor of our lips blending into one
I trust no one to steal your heart of gold
As it belongs to me
Piety such a thief as your heart would rebound, on love’s revolving sea
As we rekindle loves burning embers they would surely glow into a passionate flame of undying love
Squeeze love’s juices, nectars from our hearts
