A Different View

Like shadows on the wall, it's hard to ignore
That love is one thing people search for
And those that have it sometimes don't know
For there are those who never do show
And some are like an open book being read
Some will carry their love to the grave when they are dead
And some will lose love for others to find
And some are meant to be, with their souls entwined
I will find true love one day, this I'm sure
Because I love with an open heart that is pure
I'm non judgemental, for beauty comes from within
To judge on just outward beauty, to me is a sin
You never know that person til you take the time
And outward beauty is superficial, like a dozen to a dime
That's why I close my eyes when I look at you
Cause I want to know your heart, and look at you with a different view

Blaho

Through false hopes
and candid dreams
i guess i did
it again

when knowing it
will not work
out in the
end

you had me hooked
just one
kiss

you and your alluring
charm you have
me lost in
this shroud
of mist

this sea of resolution
tossing and turning
of the tide

in my mind its
a revolution
as i try

through these
false hopes
and candid
dreams

it will never end
as the thread
is pulled
from its
seams

mix motions

I look in the mirror just to see my eyes..
all the pain that's laids deep down inside...
I feel as if time had stopped..
eveytime I think of u I lose my breath like I've been shot
The way we use to walk along the beach
How I layed u down then in ur ear I slowly preach

Without you I'm cold
You shine like the sun..pure gold
Ill hold on to you with all my might
Baby..YOU are my light!

Then I would slowly kiss u from your lips down to it..
My heart would beat so fast I would sit
I would try not to think about you
Cause your finally gone its true
You left me when I only theated u like a queen bee..
Don't worry time will fly.
Later You will b the one wit tears in ur eyes
And ill have me someone that I can call all mine..
as I walked outside a beautiful butterfly flew right by .. then just then my world lite up...

everything felt like it was in place..
She moved with such grace
The moon shinning on her face
This is a chance I'm gonna take
It wasn't a mistake
After the day of the beautiful butterfly
She never left myside
Every night I hold her tight
It felt more than right
We closed our eyes
And hoped we would never have to say our good byes

WHERE IS MY CYBER FRIEND?

Thought it was too late
To find my soul mate.
At first I felt on cloud nine.
Chatting with you online.
Our connection in cyberspace.
We never met face to face?
But you seemed so honest and true,
Now I miss talking to you.
I loved the contact we had
Sometimes silly, even mad.
I often thought it was daft
Was it just a game and a laugh?
A way for you to pass the time
Wasting mine should be a crime.
Was I just your pawn?
Where have you gone?
Leaving me to wonder why?
You never even said good-bye.
With not as much as a thank you.
Maybe you met someone new.
So where is my new cyber friend?
Tell me why did it end?
Look for you but you're never there
Is it over our cyber love affair?
Didn't mean that much to you?
Or will I hear from you out of the blue?
If you come texting me one day,
What should I say?
Welcome back or get lost, delete?
I know that we will never meet.
These two strangers on the net
Writing to I may regret
Have you decided to just move on
Singing a different song.
With another cyber friend
Well nothing I can do in the end.
But accept my fate
And look again for my soul mate.

School girl crush.

What do you call a school girl crush when the girl isn’t a school girl anymore?
Because now my crush feels like love, something I never braced myself for
Our age gap wouldn’t matter in a few years’ time
But as for now you’re too old
Sounds harsh
But to be blunt is to be cold
I don’t know if I can trust you to be 100% straight with me
If you’ll love me or just want the badge of being with a younger girl to soothe your vanity
But to think such things about you may mean my feelings just aren’t true
A little girl seeking attention from those who might disapprove
Spending a month at your house reading and writing poetry
And how poetic it was when you whispered goodnight to me
When I uttered the idea to my friends they said that would be taking advantage
But now I’m 18 and it’s still you I long to be with
Your eyes deep blue
It’s Intense when you stare at me
because i can see the pain you went through and not just their beauty
We’ve only hugged
But I dreamed we kissed
It isn’t wrong to want to be with you is it?

wish it were me

I wish it were me
But how could that be,
For you and I far apart,
In dreams can share one heart.

Your rosy cheeks delight
A face of beauty's might,
That I might climb such height,
To blissfully glimpse your sight.

I have no armor for thee,
Nor desire to be free,
For mortal man will surrender,
And still battle any pretender.

This Sandy Shore

This Sandy Shore

Your loveliness is like a mountain stream
Your eyes are deep in sadness' dark shadow,
While your crimson lips I kiss in a dream,
In the soft clover of morning's green meadow.

Your voice is the song of the nightingale,
As sunset overtakes the glistening seashore,
For you are far away under receding full sail,
And I am alone in moonlight missing you more.

The touch of your hand gently upon my cheek,
The caress of mine across your tearful brow,
Tears at the anchor of my heart growing weak,
From fears I'll not hear your true love's vow.

So now I pray angels watch and keep you immune,
And bring you back soon to this sandy shore,
Where on this beach below the stars and moon,
I'll embrace the only one my heart could adore.

Good Night

At the end of my flight
I saw no light,
but i felt a gently touch...
I couldn't ask for much.
I wish I could lay with you while I stop time,
long enough for our bodies to rhyme.
will dream of romance...
will dream of a dance...
will dream of your lips...
will dream of your hips...
My lovely soul-mate,
I won't ask for a date,
but I hope you will let me say:
"Don't you ever go away".
Is this my good night? Is this your goodbye?
I will let you decide
Sweet Dreams.

To a Lady.

Through many a fertile glimmering glade,
far removed from life's harsh noisy throng,
with noiseless art, gold sandled made,
She, in whispering time, gracefully glides along
sun-filled hours in vitues soft velvet purse,
floating floats, like meandering streams quiet sigh,
that mocks the cynics uncouth social intercorse,
where dwells dishonour in tunnelled visioned eye,
She, unknown to guile, walks in beauty of the soul
amid slumbering stars and 'Elysian Fields' lush lea,
bestow love's love, away from waring man's control,
thus riches of the heart, flourish in her sanctuary,

this love, cupped where soft breast's ever wean
each new sprung dawn, with flowering hopes unseen.

undone

like the very breeze, enveloping my senses
drawing me to sadness at the brevity of your gaze
to have to own to love a rose which is ever-blooming
should that love be ours
undone am I
the key is thyne
