love

Once,

I was afraid , I'd never find someone,
to really care about. I wanted someone Perfect, atleast for me.
A special kind of talking, an easy way of listening.
Not being afraid, to laugh or cry.
I guess I expected alot.
But I am a believer , and I believed that somebody
someone's particular magic would transform my life,
and life my heart with joy.

So inspite of all the waiting.
All the loniness..
All the almost Giving Up...

Remembering wishes really do come true.
Because what I've always wanted Is'nt A Dream.
It's You.

She came down from Olympus...

She came down from Olympus(literally) brimming with information,
And a gorgeous bounce in her step,
As she had been gone a few days, I’d missed her intensely,
She was overflowing with stories from the gods themselves,
I listened to her enraptured and enthralled...

Her impressions of the energy that Olympus emits was captivating,
The ancient sites, the markers, the awe-struck tourists, were all a worthwhile listen,
She continued with lore of wine as espoused by the ancient Hellenes,
The mysterious cult of Dionysus, and how it was immortalized in the work of Euripides's play The Bacchae...

A lecture by a Greek professor on the etymology of the word ‘anthorop’, which is the root-word of the Greek ‘anthropos’ meaning MAN, and how the root word has the meaning of aspiring to rise upward, this on top of Olympus, how much higher can one rise, a reference to the ancients’ desire to rise to ‘godhood’, hence the ‘invention’ of the Twelve Olympians, who though gods, were full of human foibles?

Well, the tales had now been told,
The vessel emptied of intellectual and academic minutiae,
The salmon I had baked for us digested, the Johnny Walker Black done justice to,
I found to my delight, that she was no yet quite finished riding on high,
As was evidenced by the explosion of the membrum virile as she bore down on it,
Experiencing another kind of feminine mystery...,
And as the embers ebbed, and I found myself delving into her hypnotic eyes,
I could have sworn I saw the 12 Olympians dancing there...

Satisfied

A winter dream and two lonely hearts
All that stops us from our starts
In such a landscape barren of life
When both our hearts are torn with strife
There's no time for you or you for me
Could you only see what my heart can see
If only you and I could be... satisfied

My life is like Country Song

My life is like a country song,
I don't what I ever did wrong.

I was married for 18 years,
Trying to hide the pain, and wipe away my tears.

He was my best friend, I gave him my heart,
I thought we would last and never part.

How can someone just ditch and run,
When he used to love me and we used to have fun.

I did all I could just to hold on,
Was my whole life a lie, was he just a con.

I know how to treat a man thats true,
I know how to make him laugh, and never feel blue.

He didn't want the family life,
He wanted his freedom and not the stress or striff.

Now I have to start fresh with a brand new face,
To know him and accept him and love his embrace.

Will I ever find that second chance,
To again have that excitement with a kiss and a slow dance.

ENCHANTING VIEW

Chat-Savvy Prose dedicated to "LuvLace"
in my uniquely innovative "Profuse" style
of excessive poetic elements.

Hear . . . Take my hand -written poetry and
Reach for me now
while I guide us to seæ
a beach on an isle~I’ll
take you with me
Please open Mind if we share fantasy?
Amidst a romantic lagoon
A mystical man’n’ the moon~
light
up the knight
for a lady’s fair fancy
Dancing alight
like the moonlit crests
of the waves that caress
for shore
Wanting more
caresses
he s l o w l y undresses…
her…
tresses…
removing the lace ( ;
A charming new face
gives a smile : )
They kisss :^*
ahhh_wile!
XXXtra lonnng
{{{HUnG}}}s
wO00 her
Like the song…
that he sings to her
BrrRINGs to her
kneæds
A please_sing melody
A romantic serenade
MAiDE of Honor
on her
strings of her heart
he sings
on his
guitar not far from the fire
that burns within
their souls
yearn for the words they long to hear
“Isle of View” {I<3U]
they say
(allowed aloud)
isn’t far a_way
It’s just as close as
(you would like it ; )
near
Here… Take my hand.

About this poem:
This is written in just one of my many diverse styles. I call this unique poetic artistry "Profusion" because it is excessively bombarded with too many poetic elements, including some I've innovated*, such as:

Alliteration, Allusion, Antonyms, *"ArchieBunkerism", Assonance, *"Character Mapping", *"Colour", Dichotomy, *"DicLixCYa", Double-Entendre, Elision, *"FuNTS", Homographs, Homonyms, Homophones, (I know, what a bunch o' Homos! ; ), Hyperbole, Juxtaposition, Metaphors, Metonymy, Onomatopoeia, Oxymorons, Personification, *"PUNK'dU8shun" Puns, Similes, *"Strategic Phrasing", Subliminal, Symbolism, Synonyms, *"Textual InUendOH!", + others...

It is more for my own word-playa amusement (admittedly narcissistic?) than for layperson public consumption. Some of the elements may not be easily detected completely due to HTML limits in this post (if you'd like to view it in its "fool glory" in MS Word, email a request from/to your personal addy). Most get the surface level, but to fully appreciate its complex, deeper multiple meanings, reread & study it slowly and see if you can detect all 80+ of its intentionally composed poetic elements. Enjoy ( :

In your arms

Silence the night with the whispers of my kisses, let your cold flesh be warmed underneath the blanket of my arms. Life with you is the begining of earth anew. I do not have a world only the embrace of your arms. I am cleansed by the kisses of your lips in your cuddle time dissolves as a flaming book. Let us have our fill of love for tomorrow might die at birth.

Lets Pretend

Let's pretend we'er stranger's,
and for each other never cared.
Lets pretend your lips with me ,
you have never shared.

Let's pretend from your embrace,
i long to be free.
Let's pretend the dreams of you,
have now stoped haunting me.

Lets pretend we never danced,
and that we never kissed.
Lets pretend when your away,
that your never missed.

Lets pretend the pain i feel,
really is'nt true.
Lets pretend that there's no pain,
ever felt by you.

Let's pretend you've never,
been more than a friend.
lets pretend that we can play,
the make belive game pretend.

What An Evening

Sun is going down behind the mountains with a show for the eyes to see, a variety of colors all mashed together to make a gleam that streams from here to eternity.
Your presence with me is comforting, and exhilarting at the same time. A tingling sensation starts in my toes and spreads through out my body when you kiss my lips so tender and true. I feel like this must be a dream since things are so perfect at this moment in time.
A gentleman you are, you never push yourself on me even when at that moment my mind is saying to take me into your arms, and fill me with all of your passions, yet you wait and treat me like a lady with love, and respect letting me know that day will come when we are as one with no holding back of our feelings.
Stars now shine bright as your eyes, they sparkle and twinkle as if to say you have had a wonderfully filled night with much sensations, so now let it be. The day and evenings that we are to meet have been so enticing that never do I want them to end, maybe in time I will make you mine, we shall see what tomorrow brings.

Warm My Body

Leave's are falling, cold weather is coming now that winter is knocking on the door. Sweater's are being pulled out of storage, bodies no more showing all of the skin only certain area's are still revealed leaving the rest to certain imaginations.
Winter is slipping into the thought's of everyone and what it will bring to this year as it unfolds. White flake's start streaming across the sky in places where it has yet to fly, this is the year for freezing tempatures, already we are a witness to this from many other states this early in the year.
Cut the wood for heat and romance, then go out and find someone to keep you company and have your Bodies together for warmth, love, and maybe even a little fun during this time of the year.
Cover the window's from cold seeping through the crack's, make sure that you have coffee on the stove and a bottle of whiskey in the cabinet for when it's to cold to step out the door, a good book or song to pass the time along with the company of your better half.
