unyielding love
Your love was like a light it was blinding It could set fire to the darkest night and like a moth to a flame I was attracted to the site and I stand forever gazing never losing sight at times it flickered and almost died out only to rise from the ashes burning bright the wind came and tried to beat you down but you held on and rose from the ground I watched you shed tears but never make a sound instead they turned to stars and touched the sky you lit the world when you walked by and when the earth threw stones you gave it warmth and after all the years your flame finally flickered out I was still watching the end of a life that the world is lost without an undying love that shined to bright.

Dancing round the Gypsies campfires burning very bright, gazing at the stars, thinking of my love one, dancing wildly and drinking throughout the night!

She filled my life with happiness!
cupid
walking into the moon
the shadow of two
with you love
hold my hand
clasped with passion
this is my world
if only i could
put my hands up
touching the stars
grabbing you a handful
all the colours of light
an explosion of colours
through a kaleeidoscope
so beautiful
a rainbow your bow
on which i shoot the arrow
like a boomarang
my heart in you
a beautiful soul
who shot that golden arrow
through my heart

Witness
A witness...
a witness to this world around us,
to the love and the joy...
to the hate and the fears...
and to all of the questions and doubts that
seem to abound in so many of us.
I witness this breath,
it is yours and mine.
I witness this sunset,
it is yours and mine.
I know your tears,
I know the promises broken...
but I can't wipe the tears from your face,
or heal your heart...
I can't answer your many questions...
only to say,
I ask them too.
You see,
it's knowing you are here with me
on this Earth that gives me hope...
that answers a prayer from so long ago,
a prayer of love...
and of remembrance.
a witness to this world around us,
to the love and the joy...

woosh like lightning a flash
looking out the window
who do i see

only a beautiful fairy
beautiful eyes saphire deep
beautiful wings sparkling so bright

in the trance of my sleep

Dare I
In the darkness of night my mind starts to wander
Bringing magical moments of thought
Of what might be if I let my heart go freely
But, dare I?
With phone held in my hand and number ready
A brief moment of conversation with you
Would surely bring you to my embrace
But, dare I?
To let you into my life and see my true inner being
Told hold your love to my chest, each beat
Pulling me closer to you and me – as one
But, dare I?
You bring me to my knees with one smile
Melting the walls built to keep safe my heart
Almost begging, you ask me to let the guard down
But, dare I?
I reach out and take your hand in mine
Fall deeply into the depths of sincere eyes
Smile at the reflection of love shining back to me
I dare.

Volcanic kisses
For years I steered clear
of her..
She was chosen of the gods
to seduce mens souls and
then leave them groveling
like blind beggars
I would not be another
victim so I avoided eye
contact with her every
passing
But all the men in the
office kept talking about
her and her agressive style
once they had fallen prey
to her devilish charms
I vowed never to be another
calsuality so I wore a blank
face in her presence and cut
short every verbal encounter
with her
But she on occassion would
give me that sidelong glance
and that subtle quick gaze and
then spin and walk away as if
she knew I was already a lamb
lead to the slaughter
Yet I was ever more defient in
my resolve and at the company
party I felt safe from her seductive
wiles as I showed up with a woman
clinging to my arm
Throughout the evening as the wine
flowed like a fountain I would catch
her quick glimspe and even locked
eyes a time or two
My date had managed to forstall these
deep rumblings from within and regale
my passions with occassional sweet
nothings in my ear
But this temptress had moved her way
through the smoke filled room and
managed to position herself before me
with an air of innocence
She politely asked me for a dance and
gracefully pulled me into the thick of the
crowd
She pressed her firm body to mine and
pulled our necks close nibbling and tongue
teasing my ear
I attempted to pull away in one last ditch
effort to salvage the remnants of my resolve
but her fiery lips met mine with her velvet
hands running down my back reaching the
fire of my passion
I surrendered as any slave might to the
repressed fantasys of unknown lands
At that moment I was suspended in time
and space and violent nature erupted as
if from the bowels of the earth and I was
engulfed in the fire and smoke of her
